Jeong-Sook Kim

Jeong-Sook is an associate solicitor in our London office.

Jeong-Sook’s experience includes advising Owners, Charterers, P&I Clubs, and Insurers on a variety of contentious matters, including contractual disputes arising under charterparties, bills of lading and insurance policies.

Before entering the legal field, Jeong-Sook spent a number of years working in the maritime industry, initially as a broker and more recently at one of the leading International Group of P&I Clubs based in London as an underwriting director. In that role, she was responsible for the Asian market, including Korea and Japan. With a Master’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management from City University, Jeong-Sook is also CII qualified. She further completed the Legal Practice Course, obtaining a LLM from University of Law with a distinction.
