Campbell Johnston Clark (“CJC”) is delighted to announce the opening in Singapore of its fourth office on 24 January 2014.
The new office will further enhance the company’s presence within the Asia-Pacific region and augment CJC’s services to clients in one of the world’s leading shipping centres.
CJC is pleased to be expanding its network of offices, and the Singapore office is the latest addition to a growing list of established shipping locations. Singapore is an important area for growth, and CJC looks forward to offering its expertise from a dedicated team of English-qualified lawyers based in Singapore. Specifically, Chris Quennell, a director of CJC, will head this new office, and provide his invaluable wealth of experience not only as a shipping lawyer, but also in working in the Asia-Pacific region for many years, including China. Chris will be joined by Ian Short, who is promoted to director of CJC with effect from 1 February 2014. Ian has a European client base with an Asian presence and he has frequentlyworked directly with clients based throughout Asia, including running disputes through Singapore arbitration.
