CJC was delighted to send a strong contingent to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Workboat Association on September 9th. Helen McCormick, CJC Director , Charlotte Ward, Head of Marketing and Dimitris Kroustallis, Trainee Solicitor joined 165 members and guests on board the Thames City Cruises vessel Erasmus.
Formed by six members in 1994 with the aim of establishing a code of practice for workboats in the UK, today the organisation has over 230 members which collectively operate thousands of vessels around the globe. In addition to its key work with regulators, it continues to provide a vital resource for training, networking, lobbying, safety tools, consultancy and publications.
A huge round of applause to the association for reaching this important milestone, and a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated team for putting together a memorable event!
