This has been a busy quarter for appointments across CJC’s international teams, with new members of staff joining our offices in the UK, the United States and Asia.
Christy Ho, CJC Singapore and Marissa Lenoir, CJC Miami both join the firm with the position of Associate. Christy has experience in asset finance deals in aviation and shipping and adds her expertise to CJC’s Transactional team in Singapore. Marissa brings experience in a wide range of maritime litigation, with previous work including defending claims brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and Defense Base Act.
We are also pleased to announce that Francesca Koenders will join CJC mid-December 2024. She will work on litigation matters as part of the London team.
Recent months have also seen other new members of staff at CJC London. Artem Maltsev has joined the firm as Compliance Manager, bringing considerable experience in banking regulations, corporate law, sanctions, and compliance. He worked for over 10 years as a leading expert in legal due diligence at the largest Russian private bank.
Meanwhile, Liona Kourkoumeli has been appointed Trainee Solicitor. Holding a Bachelor of Laws LLB from Queen Mary University of London and an LLM degree in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University, Liona is completing the SQE. As CJC Currents was due distribution in mid-October, Matthew Bennett joined the firm as an NQ solicitor in our London litigation team.
